What Logistics Billboard?

Find and compare logistics billboard sites for courier work, freight work and networking.

Why?

Online freight exchanges were invented in the 1990s, to enable transport companies, freight forwarders and other transport businesses to use spare capacity and reduce costs.

There are a handful of exchange sites that have been in operation since the early days, but in the past couple of years the number of work / exchange sites for couriers and hauliers has increased and there are now many sites, all offering different features and serving different markets, and this has been most noticeable in sites offering services to couriers and their customers.

For newcomers to the industry the terminology can be confusing, especially as many of the “old hands” refer to them all as “courier exchanges” when in fact Courier Exchange is a registered trademark.

The term “logistics billboard” was fist used as a generic term for work / exchange / networking sites on the courier owner driver forum (codforum) and is derived from the way noticeboards were used to advertise and find work in the “old days” before online exchange sites.
